The Learning with Ms. Manners Character Education Program is a comprehensive, age appropriate program designed to introduce preschool children to character education concepts, thoughts, and ideas. Character education skills, just like math, reading, and writing skills, must be taught. The earlier those skills are taught and reinforced, the more we should expect our children to positively interact with each other and navigate in the world around them.
Character Education
Character Education is a national movement that instills ethical, core values that are important to the development of young children. The Learning with Ms. Manners Character Education Program approach to character education includes every child. It will meet every child where they are, and challenge them to excel. The program will provide a teaching model of a specific character education trait. The students will participate in a series of character education lessons and/or activities and explore a variety of character education traits that will help them succeed throughout their lives. Lessons will focus on topics such as, respect, responsibility, self-control, and honesty; just to name a few.
